SwimReady Swim School was founded with one simple goal: to help more people in Cardiff feel confident, capable, and cared for in the water.
Brendan, our founder, has spent years teaching swimming across Wales — from tiny tots taking their first dip to adults overcoming lifelong fears. What started as a passion for helping people turned into a purpose: creating a swim school that puts people first, always. A place where every swimmer, no matter their age or ability, is welcomed like family.
SwimReady is proudly run as a family business. We believe learning to swim isn’t just about technique — it’s about trust, encouragement, and celebrating progress, one small win at a time. That’s why we focus on personalised, inclusive lessons delivered with patience, warmth, and a genuine love for teaching.
Today, based in the Hilton Hotel Cardiff, we offer 1:1, 2:1, and small group swimming lessons in a calm, professional environment. Whether you’re booking for your child or taking the plunge yourself, we’re here to guide you every step (or stroke) of the way.
